Printmaking
Monoprinting is a form of printmaking that has images or lines that can only be made once, unlike most printmaking , where there are multiple originals. There are many techniques of monoprinting.
In sixth grade we use crayons and draw an image on a heated warming tray. A piece of paper is put on top of the crayon drawing and with a spaula the artist gently presses the paper down. When the paper is lifted a mono print has been created.
