- Intro to project tools and processes.
- Historical Connection- Elizabeth Catlett, Daisy Youngblood, Robert Arneson, Alison Saar.
- Elements and Principles – complete a final coil pot or object using texture, shape, and form.

Student will answer questions and discuss artists and related works.
- Students will create a coil pot.
- Develop 2-3 sketches in your sketchbook.
- Pick one sketch for pinch pot.
- Using clay tools complete pinch pot.
- Class critique where students will observe and compare and contrast each others work of art.
